Swim-For-Inclusions

One of the main goals of us founding Dive Drive is to advocate for Special Olympics and people with special needs. To advocate for more volunteer participation in Special Olympics, we set up multiple swim for inclusions to encourage others to get involved with the movement.

Podcasts

Another important goal we had when founding Dive Drive was to spread awareness. We wanted more people to understand the difficulties someone with special needs may face when trying to live a healthy lifestyle. To help spread awareness about their struggles and how we as a community can support them we talked to athletes, Special Olympics staff, and various medical professionals.

Fundraising

Donation boxes + corporate sponsors

Our last goal for founding Dive Drive was fundraising. We wanted to raise donations of both money and swimming gear to donate to Special Olympics teams throughout Michigan, so we reached out to local companies and large corporations for monetary donations, and set up donation boxes at local pools to collect donations of swim gear (goggles, caps, swimsuits, etc.)
