Meet The Team

I have been in involved with Special Olympics since I was a freshman at Northville High School. I first joined the high school's Unified Club and quickly became more interested in Special Olympics, and I wanted to get involved outside of my school club as well. I started to volunteer as a coach for the Special Olympics Michigan swim team, and I am currently a member of the state Youth Activation Committee with my unified partner Miles. I am also a member of the executive board for the YAC. We focus on raising money and collecting donations of swim equipment for the Special Olympics swim teams to ensure that the swimmers will not have to pay to participate. I am a co-founder of the Dive Drive organization, which focuses on spreading inclusion, especially in sports with the goal to increase participation to improve health. I am focused on continuing and spreading my efforts at the University of Michigan as well.
